Hey peeps. So I see that my comment on not having anything interesting to blog about was not enough. So I decided hey, why not just keep writing so you all will have something to read. So...here I go...first topic on the agenda...
The L.O.M.L...Debbie, you should know what this stands for b/c I got it from you. Tingle, you may not. I'll just keep you thinking until the end of this blog. muaaaahhhh muaahhhh (evil laugh). Anyhow, so things with me and the L.O.M.L. are decent. I think we have kinda estblished a "tradition" so to speak. I think Fridays are our days. We seem to hang out every Friday and play Saturday by ear. I just think it's pretty cool. We hang out at this lil bar right by my house, eat and drink with his friends and mine. Very relaxing and mellow. I love it. So that's pretty cool. (Remember guys, I am just gonna keep on writing until I gotta get some work done). Other than that, things are cool, takin' it easy, surprisingly enough, enjoying the "I don't know where this is going" kinda relationship more than I expected. It takes a great burden of stress off me and reminds me that my phone can ring whenever the hell I want it to w/o any complaints. He's very nurturing and takes good care of me when we're together and checks on me all the time when we're not...it works for me.
Wait before I finish w/ the L.O.M.L. let me tell you all how I went to his b-ball game last week and Neal was there. Who's Neal...flashback, my birthday at Max's. "I've heard absolutely nothing about you." Yeah, that's Neal. Well, I got a phone call from him a couple of days after the game questioning who I was there with and yada yada. Well last nite, I saw him again, but this time he saw who I was with and before the end of the nite, made it a point to go and speak the the love of my life. Guys are such losers. I'll just leave it at that b/c talking about this is boring me now. But that was the story in a nutshell, stay tuned for more on that...
School...so I have been trying to get in contact with FIU for over a week. I think that's crazy that I may not get into school b/c I'm gonna have to cuss an admissions person out. Joan said it best, "FIU definitely ain't no UF."
Work...yeah, nothing really exciting on this end. Oh, I made the crazy lady shed a tear yesterday, but that's a whole other story... But on a brighter note, we are nearing the end of September. That means I have been working for about 9 months now, either of you could've had a baby by now! Time sure does fly, huh?
Mom...she's been doing so good, but this week has been a little rough for her. I am starting to get a lil concerned, but not quite freaking out yet. Stay tuned for more details on this...
It's Friday...ok, so what do I have planned for this weekend? Well, tonight, me and the L.O.M.L. are supposed to have dinner and hang out, followed by the movies with Deborah to see that new scary movie, "Cry Wolf." Great, I gotta see another scary movie with Deborah's crazy ass. She be so scared I don't have the chance to be scared myself. But it should be good, clean fun. And off to bed, b/c work awaits me tomorrow morning. As for Saturday, it's work, followed by dinner at Mai Kai with my mom, sis, her boyfriend, and drumroll please...my dad. He's been tring to be the "family man." It's actually pretty interesting. But my sis's boyfriend loves my dad. This is scary. We're becoming grown-ups for real. Dinner w/ parents and boyfriends. But here's the real question, when an I bringing a boyfriend to dinner with my family? It ain't happenin captain. Got off track. So after dinner, ok brace yourselves, this is corny, I have been challeged to a game of monopoly by my sister's boyfriend. So that's it. That's my plan for Saturday, Mai Kai and monopoly. Oh, how quickly we grow old.
Misc...So, I've been thinking...(oh no!) I think that we should write a book, and call it twenty-somethings. All of these posts could easily be drafted into a book. Think about it. I got this idea from a group of successful women from miami who used to get together for their "girl's nite out" and talk about all of the issues they were going thru in life. I hear their book is really awesome, and I started thinking about us. With the different places we are in in life, and experiencing the twenty something blues. Ok, maybe I thinking too big, but I just thought it was a cool idea.
More misc...I think this is a lot of catching up I have done. So I hope you enjoyed reading. I know ya'll are probably like damn, does this girl work? The answer is most definitely, however, you have to take some time to smell the roses and blog. PEACE.
